Insights Training Model

At Selectiv-i we deliver bespoke training solutions using a number of different training models which challenge leaders to embrace self-awareness. Using the Insights model (based on Carl Jung’s theories) we have a common-sense approach to bringing sustainable improvements in performance, based on a clear understanding of self and one’s own style of management.

By delivering these solutions separately or combining the models to deliver bespoke training, Selectiv-i helps businesses build a mindset of high performance in leadership and individual direction. Our solution weaves through the performance cycle. The more effectively you lead the better your team will be.

Liberating Leadership

Liberating Leadership is an award-winning programme which pulls a number of different management models together into a robust process. With personality there is no right or wrong, each person is unique. When it comes to leadership there is a right way to lead, and if you do things in the right order it makes leading people so much more focused and effective. The flair you bring to the task of leading people will then flow through your distinct style.

The Liberating Leadership process is based on 25 years’ research and testing and has some key elements, like the Performance Navigator, which our clients love because it’s a blueprint for managing people and fits with any disciplinary and grievance procedure.

Far from being ‘soft skills’ training, Liberating Leadership, when grounded in Insights Discovery, can help drive tangible bottom-line improvements, for example, for one of our clients:

  • Staff turnover halved

  • Absenteeism rates cut by a third

  • Recruitment budget cut by 75%

  • Retention at an all time high, with 92% of staff having over 12 months service, compared with 79% previously

  • Core services supporting 20% more people than before without any increase in cost

The Liberating Leadership for Leaders - 8 week programme

  • Typically delivered in 4 x 1-day modules, no more than 2 weeks apart

Pioneering Professional

Pioneering professional emerged as a result of dedicated research into why some people very quickly become stressed whilst others manage to achieve balance.

  • Imagine everyone in your team taking initiative and consistently achieving above average standards of performance

  • Imagine you and everyone in your team managing their workload and career well and having a great work-life balance

  • Imagine everyone presenting solutions not problems and being skilled at negotiating win:win outcomes

Research has highlighted two remarkable features which differentiate the highly successful people from the rest. They have a key attitude and a set of 7 key skills, which they have innately or had somehow acquired. Crucially this attitude can be adopted and the skills can be learned by anyone.
The approach is award-winning.

It’s about taking responsibility for creating your own success by:

  • Managing your own environment

  • Managing your own career

  • Managing your own learning

  • Understanding how to use your own and other’s strengths well

  • Uncovering your untapped potential

Developing Personal Excellence

  • What makes high fliers fly?

  • How is it that some people become very successful, very quickly and they get promoted earlier than most, and at the same time they seem to have a very good life out of work?

  • Why is it that other people who work very hard struggle to achieve the same success?

  • How do you lift yourself up and demonstrate the kind of personal excellence that the really effective people display?
